Network Marketers Are Not Entrepreneurs? My Balanced Yet Sincere View

Is it true that network marketers are not entrepreneurs?

Is saying that network marketers are not entrepreneurs a total lie? Are you either a network marketer already or looking into the industry, and just seeing whether there really is any validity to this comment? If so, you’re in no better place as I’m going to go over this point and just break it down for you, so you can make an educated decision on whether it’s true or not.

Now one thing you need to do if you hear someone saying this is think about the credibility of the person saying this. Often times it’s someone who has never even owned a business (other times it is however), so it’s important to check this as it would be crazy of you to take business advice from someone who has no experience.

Network Marketers Are Not EntrepreneursI can understand why people may say this, as in network marketing you don’t actually operate a lot of aspects of your business compared to a traditional business. You don’t need to account for staff, payments, shipping (unless you are buying in and personally delivering products yourself) or running a building.

However I would say that this is a GOOD thing in some aspects, as although you don’t keep 100% of the profit, you don’t have to deal with all the day to day stuff and can get on with just retailing and recruiting (which is How to Make Money Fast in Network Marketing by the way).

In my view, network marketing is a great place to start but ultimately I would suggest selling your own products and coaching as you move on up the ‘food chain’. This is not to discredit the MLM industry but selling your own stuff ultimately does bring you a higher profit margin.

Anyway back to the original question: is it true that network marketers are not entrepreneurs? I would say that it’s NOT true, they still put in the hustle and grind (well the successful ones do anyway). So you should honour that hustle and sweat equity that you see just as if they were running any other business…network marketing is still a legitimate business model even if it’s different from all the others.
