What are the expectations and realities of Success in Network Marketing?

If you’re a home business owner, you’re probably striving for success in network marketing but don’t want to be mislead by ‘gurus’ giving you advice that won’t work for you. Today you’ll learn about some misconceptions that some people, and are sadly taught, as well as what it really takes to get the best results in the industry.Success in Network Marketing

One of the biggest misconceptions is finding five people who will make you a fortune. While this is possible, it’s made out to be a very easy task but it can be much harder than it’s marketed as. What you need is five LEADERS to create success in network marketing.

So how do we find five leaders? You need to start becoming a leader yourself in order to up your standards, and attract other leaders. People like people who are like themselves, so if you’re not positioning yourself as a leader in all of your marketing then you need to start doing this urgently. The next expectation is that you have to work really, really hard. This is partially true, as you also need to work just as smartly too. If working hard alone would create massive success in life, we would all be manual labourers driving around in brand new Porches.

You can work smart by creating valuable content online that people can find over time, and can learn from even when you’re not online or working. It’s like being able to create carbon copies of yourself, and put it on the Internet so it works 24/7.

For example, a presentation you did a year ago in Starbucks that wasn’t recorded has no leverage, but it would do if you put it on a website so it can be re-watched many times over.

The final piece of advice I can give is have an objective view when hearing some statements from leaders or uplines, and explore them to see if they’re justified. Excitement is great and can sell short term, but what you really want is long term concepts that will work over time.
