Network Marketing Success Secrets: 5 Tips to Market Without Looking Ridiculous

Looking to discover some Network Marketing Success Secrets to finally get more results?

If you’re like me, you may be out there constantly reading up on new network marketing success secrets, tips and techniques that the ‘big players’ in the industry are privy to, and you want to learn about them too. That seems fair, right?

Chances are, you also may want to market your business without looking silly or by doing any strategies that feel awkward or aren’t comfortable with. That’s not appealing to anyone!Network Marketing Success Secrets

So today, I’m going to get right into sharing five things that I recommend you start doing to build your business without getting rejected or losing credibility with your relatives and pals.

You may also find my recent post useful where I share network marketing cold market tips to recruit without pushback.

Behold! My five network marketing success secrets:

1 – Brand YOU first and your company second.

The reason why I say this is because telling people your company up front gives them an opportunity to either go and Google it or ask their friends and family about it (both may be uneducated and invalid sources of information). They may also seek out leaders in the company and go work with them instead. You run that risk if you are always posting about your company.

Instead, brand YOU as the business. People join people not companies in network marketing, and more specifically they join leaders. Always ask yourself this question; why should someone work with you instead of someone else? What value such as network marketing success secrets are you adding to the marketplace that will make people want to join you?

I’m not saying to never talk about your company, as there is a time and place. Typically I don’t do much talking about my company until after somone has watched a presentation that explains the whole business, so that I don’t have to.

You shouldn’t feel obliged to either! Why spend 30-60 minutes explaining to one person about your company for them to say “yea I’ll think about it”?

If someone is putting off watching a video then I won’t work with them, as there’s a good chance they also not go through the getting started training or put the time into the business in general. This has just been from my experience.

2 – Establish yourself as a leader in the industry.

Piggybacking off my previous point, you need to set yourself apart from all the many thousands of network marketers in your company, as well as in the industry overall. The best way to do this is to showcase your value by creating content based on what you’ve learnt recently.

It has to solve a problem that your target market is struggling with, and I believe the best target market for this. This is because they understand the business model, they won’t cry ‘scam’ and they already spend money on personal development.

So if you were to create a training that solves their problem, and they had to join your team to access it, then they would be more likely to do it than your average Joe who has never invested in themselves before.

3 – Immerse yourself in personal development.

I’m not saying you have to be some absolute personal development junkie who listens to Jim Rohn all day every day. My advice however, is to spend at least half an hour per day absorbing some information. The way you speak will improve. The quality of your content will improve. How you interact with people and handle objections will improve. You will be so surprised at how many network marketing success secrets and tips you’ll pick up plugging into this stuff – see if you can get these best network marketing books (in my view) in audio format.

Also, remember that your mind has anywhere around 50,000 thoughts per day and most of them are negative! So we need to be proactive and re-program our naturally negative mind to make it less destructive and more creative, especially if we’re not in an environment where creativity is encouraged.

4 – Lead with value, and not pitching.

We are in a personal development and leadership model, rather than a features and facts model like most people think we are. This isn’t traditional sales by a long shot, and anyone who treats it as such is just going to get tonnes of rejection, even if they’re a good salesperson.

We need to make the focus on the other person’s pain, passion and problem in their life. Are they living their passion, and what’s stopping them from living it if they aren’t?

Or if they are already living their passion how can we help do what they do better? What you like isn’t very important…but what is the other person looking for, and what’s important to them?

How can you create content that solves the problems they may be facing e.g. lack of leads, sales and team duplication? Can you share a few network marketing success secrets to help them out? (Not all of them!)

You should not be doing much selling…that’s at the end of the process. It also helps if you have a video or website that actually does most of the selling and you’re just there to answer any questions afterwards.

5 – Find a mentor in a specific area and do what they suggest to do.

This has been a big turning point in my life. I spent a few years trying to succeed on my own and it was long, expensive and tiring. I actually achieved way more in my business in less than one year of millionaire mentoring than I did in 4 years of trial and error (which was not fun anyway!).  The key here is to surrender your pride and ego for a short while, let them both take the back seat! Then just be coachable.

I would say this is one of the hardest steps for people, as ego can creep in at any time in various forms and your ego is not your amigo. They try and go it alone but in reality a mentor would be able to see potential mistakes you are about to make and point you in the right direction. Even if it costs a significant amount of money, I would rather use money than time, as time you cannot get back!

I hope you enjoyed these network marketing success secrets and can use these strategies to influence the right prospects to get started with you, without rejection.
